Leia was giving Affie a little bit of a break today from their usual training. They had topped last year's record a couple days ago, she was feeling good, the weather was fine and Leia was aching for a good ride. Her mom dropped her off about midmorning and she waved a cheery goodbye, skipping into the barn with her usual spunkiness. Today not only her personality was shining, her tight skinny jeans were accented by a sparkling gold well-fitting T-shirt and a black belt around her middle. Around her neck was a necklace with several layers of gold string and beads that matched her earrings. A matching gold headband sparkled in her short brown hair; about the only thing about her that didn't 'pop' was her riding boots.

"Hello, everyone!" she called to horses and people alike. A few horses snorted at her, most just hung their heads over their stalls to watch her walk down the middle aisle with a spunk in her step. An Affair to Remember stuck his black and white head over his stall door and nickered happily, making her laugh. Her laugh was a high, clear sound that was nice to listen to, but could get annoying after awhile.

"Hey, Affie! How are you?" she said to greet him. The spunky teenager ruffled his mane affectionately and he blew gently into her shoulder, greeting each other the same way they always did. After a moment, she led him out of his stall and cross-tied him, patting him on the neck before heading to the tack room to get her grooming supplies, saddle and bridle. She returned and gave him a good brush down, which he thoroughly enjoyed, I might add, and then saddled and bridled him. "Anyone looking for a trail ride?" she called out, untying him and leading him down the center aisle of the barn towards the door.
