Kc sighed softly as she rolled out of bed. A drop of sweat rolled down her head. Ugh. It's going to be hot out today. Kc grumbled to her self as she let her feet land on the floor. Even that was hot, and it was usually cold in the morning, and pretty much any time during the day. Shaking her head softly, Kc frowned, letting her eyes wander around the room. Sighign softly Kc grabbed a pair of shorts, that she hoped still fit, along with a t-shirt and headed to the bathroom. She took a quick shower, then headed back to her room. She put her dirty clothes in her basket, then took a second look around. She frowned slightly again, and headed towards the dresser that was hers.

She dug around for a few minutes, and still had no luck in which she wanted to find. Dammit. Where and the hell is it? Kc cursed out loud, and then finally found what she wanted. Her bikini was in her hands, the top and the bottom. And of course, it was blue. The bottoms were complete blue, with the top white pokadots. Smiling, Kc slipped her flip flops on, it was time to take a trip into town, and go for a swim on the beach. After all,Dark disliked being worked in the hot sun, and he needed a day off, and so did she.

Kc pulled to a stop at the Hilton Head beach. She sighed softly and looked around, locking her truck, after grabbing her towel out of the truck, and her floaty as well. Her swimsuit was under her tight fitting shorts, that showed off her skinny legs. Her top of her bikini was the only thing she had on, waste up. Smiling softly Kc diched her keys and the floaty. She slid into the water, and smiled softly, it was warm. And she was glad.

After she had gotten used to the water, she grabbed her floaty and headed out to go float. Once she got out of a spot where she wanted, which was a good ways from the beach, she setted down on the floatly. She layed on her stomach, sun glasses on. A part of her butterfly tramp-stamp tattoo showed as she slowly started to doze off...

Slipping out of her underwear, and into her mint green bikini. She slipped on some shorts, and her bikini top with matching green sandals and a cute strapless top. Hayden ran into her hall closet and grabbed a tan towel, for sun bathing and tanning. The beginning of summer had just arrived, and Hayden was as white as a clam. She grinned to herself and set off out into the blazing humid air. It was about eighty-three degrees out, and only around noon. A perfect start to a horribly hot day. Slipping off the porch, Hayden started running for the lake.

Once she got to the beach, Hayden spread out her blanket on the gravely sand and set up a umbrella over towards the top so she would be able to read. Once settled in her blanket, Hayden pulled out Eclipse and started reading from page two hundred-seventy-nine and relaxed. By the time Hayden was on three hundred-fifteen, she felt her back getting hot. placing her hang on her lower back, she noticed it hurt. She turned over a bit and noticed she got sunburned just a tad. She grimaced and turned over, slipping her green sunglasses over her eyes and continued reading.

After a bit, Hayden felt hot again and knew it was time to go take a swim. She lathered on a bit of sunscreen, let it dry which only took a few moments, and walked down the sand to the lake. She squished it between her toes each step, and inhaled the salt water. She smiled to herself and put her toes into the water. It was about twenty degrees colder than the outside, which felt delighting. She went right into the water, and ducked her blond curly hair under, coming back up and smearing her eyes, getting mascara and eye liner everywhere. That is when she noticed the girl that was there on a floaty. "Hey!" She wiped her eyes free of black and walk/swam over to her."I'm Hayden."

Kc hadn't really noticed any one that had arrived. She was lot in thought. Completely un aware of anything happening around her. Or who had arrived at the lake.The cool water felt good on her feet as she moved and let them dangle in the water. Kc had left her cell phone in her truck, which probably wasn't such a good idea. And there was probably a bunch of text messages from her sister on her blackberry, or messages from her mom. Kc sighed and let her hands dangle down in the water.

Kc's brown hair was pulled into a pony tail. Noticing some one else had arived, Kc sighed softly and slipped off the floaty into the water. She was getting hot. Kc went almost all the way down to the bottom, before her ears started to pop. It was then she came back up and propped her self back up on her floaty. Eventually she sat with her legs in the water, siting like she would in a chair, but in a floaty.

Glancing towards the beach, Kc noticed that the girl wasn't at her spot any more.Must be in the water, Kc thought to her self. Just as she was thinking that, a girl with curly blond hair popped up just a few feet away from her. Hello, Kc said with a smile as she kicked her legs in gentle circle motions. Nice to meet you Hayden. Kc said as she looked at the girl. Name's Kc.

Hayden took her blond curly hair into her hands and fought to get her wet and tangled pony tail out of her frizzy, un-managable hair. She cringed as it torn some hair out, and re-did it into a even higher pony and way tighter. She grinned at the girl and then played with a bubble that was floating on top of the salt water. Once the pocket of air popped, Hayden turned to the girl which was called Kc, and sighed softy, then looking out into the sun she smiled.

"REally nice day, isn't it? I love the summer." Of course, it was the weather, no school, and hanging out at the lake she loved, but nothing more did she love as much as riding her horses in their summer coat through the open fields. Dozing into a daydream, Hayden went under water and stayed under for about thirty seconds. Once she got bored, she came back up with a small, quiet gasp for air and smoothed out her hair, wiped her eyes and smiled at Kc.

After a moment of silence, Hayden got bored and her feet started to hurt. She gestured one finger to Kc to have her wait, and swam up to the shore. It took a while, for she was pretty far out. Once she got out she stepped onto the scorching hot sand and jumped back. Hayden grimaced and started running for her towel, acting as if she was stepping on lobsters. It took a while for Hayden to blow up her blue and purple floaty, but once she was done she jumped back in and swam to Kc. "Back. So, how are you these days" It sounded like Hayden had known Kc for years, this question.

Kc's hair was slightly messy at the moment, but it always got tangled when she was swimming. Kc usually just kept it out of the way enough, that she could swim and not have her hair in her face, or be eating it as she swam. Reaching up, Kc undid the ponytail, and grimaced as she pulled some of her hair out. She wasn't grimacing at the fact she was pulling hair out of her head, it was the pain of doing so. Kc bent over slightly, and let her hair dangle. The using her hands, she combed through it slightly, then flicked her hair backwards. Kc grabbed a hold of her hair and pulled it up onto her head, and whens he was done, it was in a pony tail.

Seeing Hayden smile, and looked out into the sun, Kc smiled softly back. She was usually always in a good mood when it was nice out. Oh yes. I love being out during the summer, Kc said with a smile, then chuckled softly. Though my horse doesn't really like being worked in the hot. Swimming wasn't a big fan of Kc's, though she did enjoy going swimming once in a while. She would rather spend a hot,sweaty day at the barn, then go swimming some of the time. Or what she really liked to do was, ride her horse in the early morning, and get a good work out in. Then go in the afternoon when she was all hot and sweaty, after taking care of her horse of course, and go swimming. Now that was awesome.

Kc raised her eye brows slightly as Hayden gave her a cue to sit there, and wait. Kc shrugged slightly as the girl swam towards the shore, then darted across the hot stand. Kc cringed, knowing by far that the sand would be really hot by now, the sun was extremely hot right now. While she waited, Kc let her body drop into the water to cool it down, though she didn't go under, that would only create more of a mess to comb through once she got back to her house. After she was done, she plopped her self back up on her floaty and watched as Hayden swam back out to her, on a purple and blue floaty.

Not Bad. I kind of wish it would cool down a bit so I could acutally get some riding in. Kc said with a smile as she twirled her legs around under the water. Yourself?
