She looked at the clock once more. It was time already but where were they? The seventeen year old female looked at the parking lot. The large arena was already open with the gate but she was so freaking nervous! Silly was only a four year old, pretty young and would be a prospect for English pleasure but Armelia wasn’t thinking of this, she just wanted to see that beauty again. She had been in the TAEA headquarters several times looking and trying to bond with Silly. The mare was still fierce and had usually kicked out wanting to kill someone; she had seen true hatred in the mare. It was the day before the mare would come here that Armelia finally got through the Friesian mix’ defence. She hadn’t been allowed to pat her but Silly had accepted a treat at least and looked more comfortable with her around. Suddenly hearing loads of roaring and a heavy sound she understood who it was and saw the large trailer. Looking behind her she hoped Matt and Amy would come, she had asked them fro their help because one, Amy wanted to supervise this and Armelia felt safe with the woman near. Two, Matt was a staff and she wanted him to see a miracle, well she hoped at least.
Silly neighed loudly. She kicked around her, ears pinned. She hated the dark, she hated this place, and she wanted to get out, now! She wasn’t that in love with travelling, this place reminded her of her old home, she had been locked up in a small stall and beaten, and she really did not like people. But as the large annoying machine stopped she stopped in her tracks. What was happening now? Ears flicked and pinned and she tried to look out but nothing worked. Neighing loudly again she heard a hushed humming and understood who was there. She answered the humming with a murmur but also neighed demanding to get out. Hush dear, you’ll get out but I’m not allowed to take you out until the two others have arrived. She had a feeling however that this mare would bail out as soon as the trailer was fully opened. For now though Armelia went around and opened the ramp, she looked at the beautiful Friesian mix. Silly blinked and flicked her ears nervously at the light. Alto didn’t click her tongue but saw that they had divided the stall in two letting the sixteen point one hands tall mare have some space at least.
Armelia saw how impatient her mare was and looked out to see if Matt and Amy had arrived soon, she really wanted to let her horse out but had a feeling she too would not be allowed to stay inside. Even if Silly had mood swings, was fierce and skittish Armelia would still want her to adjust as calmly and find peace and friendship with her. Fetching one of her carrot treats she took it in her hand and showed it to Silly. The mare looked interested at the treat, yummy, food. Lipping at it she took it so ever slowly until trotting back at the end again. Armelia understood what she meant and went out of the trailer. She just had to wait right? But even so she would want to take out the mare herself but if she thought about it again she had a feeling that Matt would have that jolly job. A soft giggle released thinking about it; Silly would run him over poor things. But she had to wait for the two right? Looking around she heard the snort and neighing of Silly and knew all to well, that mare wanted out and that was not in ten minutes, she wanted out now.

Amy Garland & Aye Aye Captain It wasn't really that often that Amy got to ride the trails around Southern Blues Stables. But, every few weeks she made a point to do it to check the condition of the trails. Today was one of those days. The operation was easy enough, ride one trail with Cap and the other with Dutch so they both got equal exercise. Right now, Amy was feeling good, mounted in a western saddle atop the sixteen hand crossbreed that was her newest equine, Aye Aye Captain. The mustang mix bobbed his head as he walked along the last leg of the Honey Oak Trail, the main barn in sight. Amy kept her hands loosely on the reins, eyeing the trees growing around the trail for signs of any that would need clipping or being taken down before a storm rolled in. Dark curly hair loose around her shoulders, Amy had to keep constantly brushing it back behind her ears when she turned to look closer at a passing tree.
Making a mental note to figure out how to keep her unruly hair back, Amy rode Captain toward the stable yard. As his hooves clopped on the concrete passing the western pen, Amy caught sight of a trailer backed up to the TAEA pen. Frowning slightly, Amy heard the sound of an insistent neigh from inside the trailer. Frown deepening, Amy tried to figure out who was being delivered. An application come to mind, adoption for an unruly black mare that had one hell of an attitude. Damn! Who knew how long that horse had been stuck in a trailer while she'd been of trail riding?
Muttering colorful curses under her breath, Amy urged Cap to a more lively canter into the stable yard. Coming around the side of the trailer and pulling the gelding to a halt, Amy caught sight of Armelia standing near the trailer, looking impatient and eager at the same time. Amy sighed. Of course, the mare's forms had been signed by Armelia, Amy remembered now the girl giving them to her and receiving the confirmation of the date and time for delivery.
Amy swung herself out of Captain's saddle, gathering his reins. The dappled grey snuffled, looking at the trailer wearily. He was still weary of most people, unfamiliar horses and trailers but he was improving slowly. Amy clicked her tongue and urged him toward Armelia. Cap leaned back, weary of the girl and bad tempered mare in the trailer. A firm tug and gentle word from Amy brought him forward wearily, eyeing both girl and horse with equal unease.
"I didn't know she was being delivered today or if I knew I totally forgot" Amy apologized when she was close enough. "Has she been in there long Alto?"

Matt checked his watch as he left the stall of the last stall he had refilled with bedding and cursed silently. Armelia had wanted his help with something, apparently another horse was coming for her or something. What she wanted him to do, he had no idea, but he was sure he had no idea how to do it. Yes, as a guy he was stronger than many of the girls here, especially the fragile Alto, but he had no experience with horses except for Rosie who was shy and quiet and Loop who was big and he hadn't even controlled that stallion.
Matt put the bag the bedding had been in into the garbage and jogged out of the barn, hoping he wasn't too late. He saw the gray horse first, being led by Amy, who he'd only seen around but never had any interactions with yet. Of course, she was the owner so it was a little odd that she hadn't met the stable hand who had to be there by order of the town judge and court. You might think she'd be a little more interested in keeping an eye on him, of all people. Well, so far he'd done nothing to warrant her attention, whether positive or negative, so he figured he was doing pretty well. Then he saw Armelia, waiting as patiently but at the same time as impatiently as possible by the trailer. He smiled at her and waved, remembering when they first met just a few days ago. "Hey, sorry I'm late," he said quickly, to both of them as soon as he was within earshot, even though it looked like Amy had just gotten there too. "So many stalls, so little time," he joked with a chuckle and a wink. He stopped next to Alto, stepping carefully around Captain because he had been warned about walking around skittish horses. He could very well get kicked in the face or somewhere else unpleasant if he got too close.
"I don't think we've met, I'm Matt," he said to Amy, extending a hand and a smile. "So, Alto, what do you need me to do? I can't promise I'll be good at it, but I can certainly try." Matt was the charming gentleman as always, with a big smile and pleasant tone. He was glad to see Alto again, she was looking even prettier today, and he was trying to appear amiable to Amy. Silly heard hooves from another horse which made the mare even more furious. She really didn’t want to see other horses. Snorting and neighing out the mare kicked out in the trailer and Armelia started humming a tone she knew had calmed the mare before. At least she had some influence on the Friesian mix. Seeing Amy she smiled and noticed Cap. He was a handsome grey mustang mix, at least he wasn’t palomino colored. Her voice was hushed as she spoke so ever gently not trying to spook him. Her hand went out having a treat that he could accept if he wanted to like her or not. Her movements were sow and relaxed as she saw him until spoke again. bShe’s been here for a good ten minutes and I have a feel that it’s the best to just open the wall. No chance that we can lead her out, she’s too annoyed and pissed off after the journey. Ok so maybe Armelia was good at reading situations but this was her own horse after all. And the TAEA trailers were provided so they could pull away the small wall keeping the horses intact in case they were danger horses, right?
The mare moved around, she was anxious and annoyed at staying in the dark. Her head perked but she saw none to take her out, only the good large ring. Oh how she wanted to get out. Ears flicked again this time hearing foot steps, Armelia heard them as well and noticed Matt. Eyes were softened even more if she could. Alto had missed him but knew he had gotten a horse, Rose wasn’t it? She had heard it was a Haflinger and had just kept away, until someone told her the mare’s color she would not go near. She had even noticed how many people that had gotten a palomino and was getting sicker by the thought. But she smiled seeing Matt and leaned against the trailer but heard the frustrated whinny of Silly, the mare wanted to go out. That’s how it is to be a working man. She joked back until deciding to tell Matt what she had called him for. He wouldn’t like it but at least he was one of those that tried to help her here. The female looked from one of them until she pointed her head back to the trailer. It’s Southern Blues Stables new addition and danger. Matt and Amy, meet Silent Silhouette, Silly meet Matt and Amy. (Alto was rewarded with a snort and kick in the trailer.) I’m not allowed to unload her unless two others are here for safety reasons and I was just talking with Amy on the best way to unload her. Would you help us, pretty please?
She looked at him with innocent eyes. If he would turn down the offer she had a feeling Amy would tell him to help or something like that. People had called Armelia insane for adopting the fierce mare but Alto knew better. She had seen the mare to progress and knew that they could do it. Jumping was out of the question but Silly could be a great English pleasure and dressage horse. She had seen it, the teen just hoped that they could get her mare out so she could start to get the progress better, time was everything right?

Amy looked toward the trailer holding the irritated black-coated mare. She knew that a stallion being around wouldn't be a good thing but Cap was a just a harmless gelding so he wouldn't be too badly off. Amy stroked his muzzle distractedly as she listened to Alto tell her what she could about the mare's personality. Obviously the girl wasn't far off about the pissed part. The poor mare was probably ready to get out and kick up a storm and fling herself around until she felt like she'd gotten most of her pent up energy out. Of course Amy would be happy to oblige the mare but she also knew it would be good to have a third pair of hands to help with the work.
"Alright Alto, wait here. I'm going to put Captain in a small pen until we're done here."
Just as Amy was turning to lead the saddled gelding toward another pen, the dappled mustang nickered and tossed his head, making Amy look around for the new arrival. It wasn't Silly that had made him itchy but an approaching youth, one of the stable hands Amy had hired. As far as her knowledge of him went, it was minimal. If she didn't need to know his name or yell at him, then he was doing his job as the court had ordered. Instructors, especially male instructors, were different stories all together but that wasn't the point. She didn't mind not knowing Matt personally because to her that meant he hadn't gotten into any trouble. Yet.
Amy watched him slowly circle around Captain and extend his hand with an introduction. Amy took his offered hand and gave a firm handshake before letting him go, eyeing him and Alto with sly curiousity. "Amy Garland and Aye Aye Captain." Amy patted the gelding whom was watching Matt uneasily.
Turning, Amy led the dappled mustang mix to one of the smaller rings near the large ring. Opening the gate, the stable owner let the gelding move past her and walk into the ring. Captain tossed his head a few times before going over to a water bucket near the fence and nosing it curously. Clicking her tonuge, Amy summoned the gelding back to her and hopped the fence. She took off his tack, leaving the bridle, blanket and saddle hung over the fence and then hopped out to rejoin the two teens whom both seemed on friendly terms with one another. At least Alto was making more friends, that was good.
She leaned easily against the fence of the large pen where Silent Silhouette would hopefully soon be bucking her heart out until she calmed down a little. Her gaze was kept keenly on both Alto and Matt, curious as to just how well they'd gotten to be friends. She could smell flirting a mile away and it was obvious Matt seemed to do it around Alto without even trying. Maybe that was just how he was though? Either way they would just have to wait and see what happened next.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Amy, your horse, too," Matt said in response to the owner's curt introduction, smiling amiably. Her firm grip and strong demeanor had much to tell him in only a short span of time. First that she was strong, independent, not unlike many of the women here, and that she meant business. This, my friends, is not a woman to get in trouble with. She is a force to be reckoned with and Matt didn't want to be the poor sap who got on her bad side. He watched her lead her horse away, still wondering if there wasn't more to her than met the eye, kind of like...well, everyone.
Matt took a quick glance into the trailer and was rewarded for his efforts by seeing a large black mare kick the side of the trailer just as Armelia introduced them. He shook his head, raising a brow as he looked at Armelia. "That terror's yours?" he asked with a small smile, getting a little nervous now about what she wanted him to do. Why else would he be here other then to lend a masculine hand? Still, he couldn't possibly turn her down, especially not when she got all cute and begged him 'pretty please'. And those big eyes. Those were the killer.
"Of course, how could I refuse?" he said, chuckling as he did. "Just tell me what I have to do; I'm your humble servant. Command me as you wish." Matt was obviously joking as he went into a mock bow before the pretty blonde girl, standing up straight quickly and at attention. He tried to keep a straight face, but a small smirk showed at the corners of his mouth. He knew this wasn't quite the time for joking around, yet still here he was, trying to lighten the mood a little so he wouldn't think so much about the large horse that they would soon be taking out. She looked at Amy with a smile and nodded. She was glad se had asked Amy seeing as the older female was actually the only girl at all which Armelia trusted fully. Looking at Matt for a second she had to try and act cool, she didn’t want him to get in trouble because of her, but then again, the thought of the oak trail was memorized in her mind and she could almost feel her cheek blush. She shook her head and saw Amy lead Captain away after both Matt and Amy had introduced itself at least that was done. She felt like she had shown her boyfriend for her first time, how embarrassing! But hearing his comment made her give him a little push before speaking gently. Hey, be nice. Let’s see where you’ve got your tongue when I’m done training her. She held a light and devilish smirk until she stepped near the trailer to where the handle to the mares wall was. Her voice was calm again as she spoke softly not wanting to spook Silly even more. Well, since you’re so big and strong do you think you can pull out this wall right here? I’ll go to the gate and close it behind her when she runs for it. Oh and Matt, don’t be surprised if the trailer goes heavily to the sides, she’s pretty heated up.
A soft smile was sent to him and she looked at Amy waving to the female that they were going to release the mare soon. Walking into the trailer again she looked at Silly trying to see if she could calm the mare a little. The ebonite sixteen hands tall mare backed away lightly and snorted, she was not going to come forth, no chance! Just wait a minute ok girl? You’ll be able to stretch your legs soon, I promise. Her voice purred gently and she noticed that the mare looked at her with a half curious, half wary look. She was at least interested in Alto. Smiling in her own little triumph she stepped out and walked to the gate and looked at Matt. Count to three then use your strength to pull it to the side. It’ll have to be quick so she’ll get minimum stress. She had been running this scene over her head so many times she had made both Twister and her spin. She really just, wanted to get everything done with it so the mare could adapt as quickly as possible and not stress. She knew most of the details as she waited for Matt because when the mare would be out, time would stand still, just wait and see.

Matt grinned as she pushed him lightly, taking the shove with a small laugh and a sidestep. "I'm sure you'll do great with her," he said, reassuring her that he had no doubt she would be a great horse when Armelia was done with her. "I'm just a little apprehensive of what she'll do right now." Still, despite these apprehensions, he followed Alto to the wall and watched her as she instructed him on what to do. "Alright, sounds like a plan. And if we get run over in the process?" his voice was still joking, although he was slightly serious about being a little afraid of the high energy horse. The mare sounded mad and not at all like his quiet little Rosie. Hmm. He was thinking of his mare as, well, /his/. That's interesting.
He watched her go to the trailer again, to see if she could do anything to get the mare to come out without a struggle, but it looked like she had no luck. The mare's noises stopped for about a minute and then he saw Alto again, walking empty handed to the gate. Well, he supposed he would just have to haul open the door.
Not wanting to frighten the mare anymore, or alert her that he was behind the door, he nodded to show Alto that he understood. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed hold of the door and whispered '1...2...3' under his breath. On three, he yanked hard on the heavy door and after a moment of resistance it slid open and the mare was free to run wherever she pleased. Hopefully, that wouldn't be towards him.

Armelia blushed at his comment, her heart beating fast but saw that he was a little hesitant when it came to the mare. She smiled softly and pointed at the trailer. The trailer has metal bars that go completely in the ring so she can’t haunt you. And if she bails just stay close to the wall, she’ll focus more on running then attacking anyone. The female stepped to the trail and then to the gate where she waited for Matt. She saw how the metal hesitated until it slid away. And within a second a ebonite shade flew out. Silly didn’t even blink; she pushed against the metal wall and felt how the metal slammed against her shoulder. She snorted and backed away until she could finally run out. Some of the metal scraped her side and she kicked out until running out. She passed Armelia with a snort and kicked out, the female ducked just enough to feel a hoof strike her shoulder. Closing the gate after the Friesian mix had entered her eyes of emerald and amber watched her shoulder feeling the power of the kick. Oh yes, Silly was truly pissed.
The female locked the gate and nodded to the driver to take up the ramp and go. She looked at Matt with a smile and looked back at Silly. The large Friesian mix was pacing back and forth nervously but the young female walked forth bravely. She knew if someone spooked Silly Alto would probably get a couple of bruises here and there. The mare pawed the ground standing proudly with her head up high and bowed. She truly looked like having at least 3/4 part Friesian and the other quarter part the mix. Walking steadily towards the mare, her eyes were calm and she took out a treat. Silly watched with ears flicking and pinning walking back until she noticed how large she was. Standing up she snorted and started to step forward with all the courage she got. Armelia halted and stood still, she got unsure of what the mare was going to do. Seeing the large animal come closer the female knew something was up, and it looked like it was a bad outcome. Ebonite equine walked forth with heavy steps, she snorted now and then, flicking her ears and picked up a trot but the female stood still. Alto would not run, no chance because she didn’t want Silly to think she was the boss around here.
Snorting once more the mare picked up her pace into a canter and set forward towards Armelia. Eyes of Amber and emerald were quite calm and watching the unsure steps she hoped in her heart that the mare would stop. How ironic, Matt would see her getting beat up, he and Amy would probably agree both in telling her to keep away from the mare. No chance. Silly however went into a canter, she stepped around Armelia and the female let a gentle smile be shown. Easy girl, easy. No need to be so angry now. The mare snorted not understanding why the female wasn’t afraid. She stepped in front of Armelia, walking in one place she snorted and half reared, hesitating several times. The teen was starting to feel confident that the mare was starting to slow down when a bucket was suddenly knocked down by a stable hand. The mare spooked and flinched, ears pinned and she reared up knocking Armelia down by an accident. Feeling the air getting knocked out of her Alto closed her eyes, great, another day with stomach pain, she was at least not hit on the same place from two days ago.
Silly cantered to the end of the ring and watched the female curiously and nervously. The mare didn’t want to cause any trouble and yet she had. The teen got to her feet rather slowly, brushing the dirt from her bottom and front and looked at the mare. No need to push the limit twice, her stomach hurt like h.ll as well as her shoulder. She touched her shoulder but it wasn’t dislocated, she was lucky at least. Walking back to the gate she slid underneath it and leaned against the fence. Her eyes slipped towards Amy and she spoke without hesitating. It wasn’t Silly’s fault. Accidents happen, she didn’t want to knock me over. Her eyes were stubborn as she looked at Amy gently until walking back to Matt, she hid the pain but leaned a little on him. You think you could help me a little? I need some water and a place to sit. She shrugged off the accident not wanting to be of any burden, Armelia was a stubborn female but the last thing she wanted was for Amy to ban her from training Silly. Because that mare really needed her attention and that more then anyone, but then again, she really needed Matt’s attention right now due to the hurting stomach. God she hated being kicked in the stomach.

With Captain secure, Amy turned back to see Matt and Armelia getting in position to let the mare out. Seeing Matt mouthing "1, 2, 3," Amy turned and quickly started off toward the ring again just in case. There seemed to be no need because within a nano-second the mare flew out of the trailer like a bat out of hell. It seemed the sixteen hand mare was more than happy to get out of the trailer but Amy couldn't blame her. All she did was quicken her pace until she was standing at the ring fence, intently watching the ebony fem as she entered the ring. From her rolling eyes and posture Amy could only assume the mare was in quite the sour mood, worse than Amy without her coffee on early mornings or really late nights. Waving to the driver, Amy signaled him to drive the trailer out of the way so Armelia could close the ring gate.
Amy leaned on the fence, intently watching the unhappy mare. Silly was technically listed as a danger mare but Amy was fairly sure Alto could handle herself. She was one of the students Amy had taken a personal interest in, and not just because she was good with horses. Actually, Amy had seen only a little of her actually handling horses. Alto was just one of those girls that seemed to need the extra attentions and efforts of her instructors. Amy wanted Alto to succeed with Silly but not if it meant her getting hurt too badly by the mare. Bruises and broken bones came with handling dangers like Silly but Amy had to know where the line must be drawn to keep the stable open.
Still, Amy watched quietly as Silhouette approached Alto. The mare seemed to be one of the dominant types which meant all her fussing around Alto was just simple challenging, trying to figure out who ruled over who. It was a typical response which meant Amy really should have been better at foreseeing the typical response to Alto holding her ground.
A stable hand taking a bucket of feed into the stable dropped it. The plastic clattered on the concrete and Silly spooked. The mare shied and reared, her hooves catching Alto in the stomach, making Amy wince and flinch slightly as the girl hit the dirt and Silly danced away. Before she could hop the fence though, Alto was slowly rising to her feet, wincing and holding her stomach. Thank God the girl had sense! Unlike Amaris the girl didn't try to rush Silly again but instead came back to the fence.
Amy held her arm to help her through the gate, eyeing her worriedly. "Matt, run to the lounge and grab a bottle of water out of the fridge" Amy instructed. "Come on Alto, sit down for a second, in the grass here, just try to get your breath hun. Don't worry 'bout that little shade over there."
Accidents happened all the time, it was part of life. Amy wasn't going to condem Silly for spooking in a new enviroment. Guiding Alto to sit in the grass around the ring, Amy knelt down next to the girl so she was on one knee. "Just relax a second. It'll be good for you and Silly."

Matt watched the mare shoot out of the trailer like the devil itself was chasing her and stepped away from the trailer. He was heading slowly towards the ring when he saw Silly kick out and graze Alto's shoulder. Suddenly, he wasn't afraid for himself anymore, but for her. A sharp intake of breath accompanied his panic, but Alto seemed none the worse for the wear. In fact, she threw him a smile. Still, the knot of fear in the pit of his stomach grew. He didn't dare ask if she was alright for fear of setting off the mare and he threw an anxious glance Amy's way. It was clear to him that the owner felt the same way, for this was not just a 'danger' horse. Silly was a dangerous horse.
Matt held his breath as the showdown between human and horse took place in the middle of the ring. Both were strong-headed females, but one was at least 1000 lbs, the other couldn't have been more than 120 lbs. Shit, this did not look good. Then, the worst happened. Well, perhaps not the worst, but to Matt it solidified a little of the slight equine fear he had. The noise of the bucket rang like thunder in his ears and it was almost slow motion as Silly reared and kicked Armelia. His first thought was, 'Oh shit, she's dead.' He rushed over closest to her, intent upon going in there and pulling her out of harm's way, but Alto got up and slid underneath the fence.
Matt was right there to support her as she stood up straight again, out of harm's way, and he gently led her towards Amy who took the girl from him. "Of course, lounge, water, and I'll look for some ice or something, too," he replied hastily before taking off at a run, not caring if he startled horses. He glanced back with worry at her once, but then concentrated on finding the lounge and something to help Alto. The girl was nuts. Stubborn, beautiful, funny, but nuts. It wasn't the horse's fault? Then whose hoofprints were probably now embedded in the girl's skin?
He found the lounge fairly easily and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. Fortunately, there was also a first aid kit and an instant cold pack inside. He ran all the way back to the ring and only stopped when he reached Alto. He knelt down beside her and handed Amy the water bottle so he could activate the instant cold pack. "Are you alright? Does she need to go to the hospital?" he asked quickly, first directing his question to Armelia, then the second question to Amy. Concern permeated his voice, his eyes, his hands as they shook trying to get the damn cold pack to start working. "Here, do you want this on your stomach or shoulder?" he asked Alto quietly, glancing over his shoulder at the offending horse. He had looked, but there had only been one cold pack.
He wanted to hold her. He really did. Something, something strange, made him want to wrap his arms as tight as possible around her and shield her from the awful horse who had hurt her. Not to mention anyone else who had ever hurt her or would want to. He wanted to protect her...but he couldn't, especially not with Amy sitting right there. "I could drive her to the hospital," he offered quickly, his gaze going briefly to his fast little car parked way over by the stables. "Or I could carry her there, whatever's best." [/blockquote]

● Armelia C. Ainsworth ● ● Adrian A. Ainsworth ●
Everything had suddenly gone in slow motion. Armelia leaned a little heavily on Amy but nodded, she didn’t have the strength to be stubborn. Sitting down on the grass her eyes looked at Silly. The mare flinched and half reared when Matt ran not liking the sudden motions. She made a turn point and neighed wanting Armelia’s protection but at the same time not. The mare was going into confusion because she wanted to be the master but she also wanted to be cared for. The blood that sprinkled from her shoulder wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either, but Armelia knew she couldn’t come near the mare yet. She won’t suffer or die from it, it’s just a scrape. She assured her mind this and released a brief sigh but gave Amy a half smile, her stomach really hurt but it was easing now. Y-Yeah, i-it’s for the best t-that s-she figures o-out what s-she wants. She leaned back on her arms just enough to see a worried Matt run over. He was really worried about her which made Alto warm and touched because she had never really felt cared for, until she came here of course.
The mare snorted and pawed the ground wanting some attention. She flicked her ears and started pacing around wondering why the female didn’t come back. Was it her fault after all? Confused and outraged because she didn’t know what she wanted and she clearly wasn’t getting any attention the mare turned her back and snorted finding some shade to cool off while souring for herself. Armelia however was quite surprised by how worried Matt really was, he looked like he was in panic poor thing. She lifted her body up and winced a little but ignored it, putting her palm on his shoulder she looked at him with a light smile. I’m ok, I promise Matt. And it wasn’t my fault, accidents like this happens with a new horse, I mean, wouldn’t you spook if you were new and trying to find your place when a high sound penetrates your ears? Horses have a better hearing then we so I’m not going to blame her, please don’t do it either. She looked at him, almost pleading him to not glare at her mare. But she wasn’t declining his help, seeing how he trembled made her frown and the seventeen year old grabbed his hands so ever softly but only to calm them, he could do this on his own after all.
Eyes looked back at Amy but she took the cold pack and lay it on her stomach to cool it off. Or rather to cease the hurting more. But she stopped in her tracks hearing about the trip to the hospital. No chance, they’ll ban me from riding. Thank you for the cold pack but I won’t go. You can’t make me. She looked like a child, her arms crossing underneath her breasts and she huffed her body up. She had thought this over, no chance at all. Though she was almost loosing her face when he said he would carry her, which only gave her the knowledge that they truly could make her because he would probably carry her even if she was stubborn or not. Right Matt? And she had a feeling that Amy wanted her to be checked in case something was wrong, d.rn it!
