Michael Pierson 1. I arrived here just a while ago and put my two horses up. Cowboy and Campbell both seemed to not mind the new surroundings, though they were a bit of a handful. Karen helped to put my stuff up while I cared for the horses. She just left after telling me to try and find an apartment soon. I haven't looked much yet, but I guess I should, I can't keep staying with her friend, I need a place of my own.

2. I looked around for an apartment today instead of going to the stables... Found a very nice place over on Ridgeway Cir. I've decided to rent and and spent most of the day and about half the night shopping for household items, because it was pretty bare. It's still pretty bare, I've only got the most basic of the basics plus a few game consoles, stereo system, computer, and a VHS/DVD player... I wonder where I put all the pictures I've had framed over the years...

3. Yeah... got to the stables and Cowboy was lame... I still dunno what he did to himself... I decided to take Campbell out instead after making sure Cowboy, the big dork, was comfortable... Our ride was pretty good, met up with two girls and made friends, even though one was very much younger than I. It really was great. Campbell was pretty good, he took me on a quick gallop through the woods though, when something spooked him... I really need to work on his spooking, he loses all common sense when something scares him... oh well, at least he doesn't turn into a rodeo bronc when a whip is touched to him, unlike one horse I know. I should really work on that with Cowboy, now that I think of it... It's not too good that he pitches a fit when a whip is layed to him.

4. Cowboy was fine today, not lame or acting like he'd even been lame. I took him out for a quick ride, but the time passed us by so quickly, like it always does when I'm riding him. We played in the creek for a little bit... Cowboy loves water and takes to it like a fish... He and I both got soaking wet and extremely muddy. We met up with some girl later on... I actually have a feeling she found our tracks and followed them... but it was great, made another friend and we decided to ride together. Cowboy acted just like another gelding around her horse.. I swear he's not got the mentality of a stallion... but I guess that that's good, though, because I would hate to have to geld him if he tried to pick fights with every horse we saw.
