(BASICS)
FULL NAME: Sonja Marie Jones
NICKNAME: Sonja
GENDER: Female
AGE: 19
BIRTH DATE: February 2nd, 1990
(APPEARANCE)[/font]
Standing at a mere five foot one, Sonja appears small but has the strength of someone twice her size. Her hourglass figure earned her many compliments back in high school. She has fairly long, muscular legs and a flat stomach to accompany distinguished collarbones and frail, narrow shoulders. Her hair is a dark brown tone, usually worn down without much attention. Naturally, Sonja's hair cascades down her back and around her shoulders in loose, tumbling curls. When, if ever, she decides to straighten her hair, her bangs are usually pinned back as well. Sonja's eyes are bright and always displaying whatever emotion she may be experiencing at the given time. Irises are a striking hazel color, and often given an extra pop with eyeliner and mascara. Nose is small, round, and somewhat resembles that of a young girl's. Sonja's full lips are usually parted to reveal two rows of perfectly straight, white teeth, and her high-set cheekbones usually attract attention with some blush swept onto them. Sonja's style is that of her own. When riding, not much thought is put into an outfit; therefore, you will most likely find her at the barn in an old T-shirt or snug polo and worn jeans or breeches. Aside from riding, Sonja's outfits include loose, baggy shirts and the usual skinny leg jean. Patterns play a big part in her outfits; paisley print and plaid seems to show itself on every other shirt in her closet. Although Sonja considered the idea of getting a tattoo, she has yet to mark herself. If she ever decided to get a tattoo, it would more than likely be on the inside of one of her wrists or beneath her collarbone(s). Her ears are pierced, just two standard studs she got done when she was fifteen. Sonja has one disability, that being her left leg is weaker than her right. It's not noticeable unless she's riding; it tends to swing more than it should. It's unknown why her leg is this way, but it's more of an annoyance than anything.

OVERVIEW:
Sonja Jones is truly a sweetheart. Her charming smile never fails to brighten someone's mood, and she has the enlightening personality to match. Around strangers (and even newly established acquaintances), she appears very shy and timid. Once you've gotten to know her on a more personal level, though, a whole other side to her will begin to surface. Understanding Sonja isn't too challenging of a task - her ability to confide in people about her life problems makes getting to know her quite easy. Blogging and writing these "secrets" down is beginning to replace Sonja's need to tell her life story to friends, though.
No matter how much being alone bothers her, Sonja's not the type of person to jump in a group of people only to appear as if she "fits in." She'll stand aside in order to avoid that label any day. Sonja is truly a girl you can confide in; her respect for guys and girls alike is an outstanding personality trait admired by many. But despite her personality, Sonja's quiet nature in school has earned her very few friendships now that high school is something of the past. However, if you were to meet Sonja in town, a little more of her wall is let down to give you a better idea of what she has to offer. In school, Sonja strived towards straight A's, although sometimes she would receive the occasional B. Her father was her main motivation, and because he motivated her so much, her GPA is at an outstanding 3.8. Due to having her mind set on school, going out and socializing was on the bottom of her to-do list, thus earning her very few friendships to date.
If someone were genuinely interested in understanding Sonja, their best bet would be to strike up a conversation in hopes of beginning a lasting friendship. Only then would your chances of getting to know Sonja be a whole lot better, for you could write a book on her life and still leave spaces unfilled.

OVERVIEW:
On February 2nd, 1990, Sonja Marie was born to Stephen and Rique Jones and taken home after two days in the hospital. At home, she was looked after and practically fought over by her parents; she was their first child together and they were certainly proud, to say the least. Sonja was and still is a fast learner. She was sitting up without assistance at five months, and unsteadily standing not long after. Her first word was "Daddy." It was apparent to all family members and friends who she favored most.
At four years old, Sonja's parents split on bad terms and she hasn't seen or heard from her mother since. Her father refused to answer Sonja's questions once she was old enough to begin understanding what happened. But Sonja didn't develop much self-pity behavior -- as she entered her teenage years, she put her mother to the back of her thoughts and lived life with the infamous quote in mind, "Everything happens for a reason."
Sonja is undoubtedly a daddy's girl. She spent what would seem like every day with him at the park, or at their local arcade, where they would play their favorite Jurassic park game for hours. At thirteen, Sonja developed a strong interest in horses. She had always been fascinated by them in magazines or in movies, but at this age she felt a strong need to pursue her interest. By keeping her grades up, her dad allowed her to take lessons at the nearest stable, which soon became her biggest hobby. Life revolved around horses, and her dad supported her one hundred percent.
Age sixteen crept around, and that's when Sonja's negative behaviors began to emerge. Sneaking off to parties and getting trashed almost every weekend was a ritual. It wasn't long before her father found out, and that's when her dad cut out riding and all contact with bad influences completely. At the time, Sonja felt so much hatred towards her father, but as the months passed without riding, she thought over the situation and came to the conclusion that he was only doing what was best for her. Sonja's maturity level skyrocketed, and it wasn't long before her father's trust was earned back and she was able to continue lessons once more.
Two years later, her dad was in a fatal car accident on the way home from work. Sonja still hasn't gotten over his death, and it doesn't appear as if she would any time soon. Being eighteen at the time, she was legally an adult and needed to find somewhere to stay. For around a year she stayed with a friend, but she knew that she needed to find her own place soon. Locating a quaint town in Virginia known as Ravenhook, Sonja decided to settle down here and see where life takes her.
