With her eyes half closed she listened to him but smiled knowing what he meant. It had been a bad memory, and she usually never pushed people through bad memories, not that she talked too much with that many people. She looked at Loop munching his hay and thought with a broken heart on the lucky person that would get him. But her eyes caught with the ebonite head that was watching them. Twister was almost unnoticeable if it hadn’t been for his soft baby blue blanket that made him stand out. He snorted and perked his ears at her which made the female smile. Feeling the warm hand of Matt the female calmed down and relaxed welcoming the warmth. The question of giving her a ride home made the female consider it slowly; she wasn’t that fond of fast cars or cars at all but looked at the male with a gentle smile. Sure, my apartment isn’t that far from the stable. But it’s much more fun being with someone on the way. Her smile was sincere and she meant it, but never could she remember the last time she had meant a smile. He was really coming onto her wasn’t he? Not that it was a bad thing, it was quite pleasant and she could relax at the same time to be her, not a mask.
Feeling the support of his arm around her waist the female stood up with him. Her eyes went to the pavement until a gust made her listen to his words. She looked around until she saw where the lounge was and smiled pointing towards the door. Then it’s probably for the best to find it right? Come. She had been here for what? Four months or more already? She knew most of the places and let her hand stay in his as she walked towards the door. Armelia opened the door without hesitating and went into the warm lounge. Closing the door behind Matt she could feel her body warm up slowly but saw that no one was there. Looks like everyone else went home already. The female turned looking up at Matt wondering where his mind was at. She would sit but she was too curious of what the male was thinking. In one way or another you could say that Armelia was a innocent devil. She never meant anything to happen on the outside, but inside her mind and body would or could scream for affection. But if she tried to talk about that then a fever blush and stutter would enter. Not that she mind, she wasn’t feeling uncomfortable, just embarrassed because she was seventeen and she had no experience, not even one. Wait, why was she thinking about this again? There was no chance that it would happen considering that she had felt a change in Matt. He seemed calmer but still had his flirty side, not that she didn’t mind that one, it was rather sweet and she felt kind of cared for and enjoyed it. But it was something else as well, she just, couldn’t put any words in it. But did Matt see that?

Matt saw the brief hesitation in her eyes as she considered his offer. He found himself almost crossing his fingers hoping she would say yes, looking to the horses with an almost pleading glance as if they could have some influence on the girl's decision. Why it was such a big deal to him, he didn't know, but he wanted to continue spending time with her and maybe find out where she lives. So when she looked at him and smiled, giving him the answer her had been hoping for, he almost breathed a sigh of relief. A charming smile flashed over his features as she accepted his offer. "Great! I wouldn't want you to get even more wet walking home," he said with a gesture to the rain, as if to explain why he had offered in the first place.
"Hey, look at that. I thought it would be farther away," he remarked as she pointed at the lounge and practically ordered him to follow her, their hands still together. He didn't need prompting and readily walked beside her to the door, reaching to open it...but she had been quicker. He smiled, shaking his head; this girl was certainly a handful. The door closed behind them and he saw that yes, indeed, everyone was gone. They were alone in the warm lounge, the door closed and hardly any chance of getting caught. Once again though, he realized he didn't want to do anything untoward. What he really wanted to do was kiss her, especially when she turned to face him with the most adorable, hesitant look on her face. Something told him not to push things with her, but her lips were practically calling to him.
"Yea, they were smart enough not to get stuck in the rain," he said quietly, his voice lower, just making conversation as if that alone could stem the sudden irresistible longing he felt for her. He couldn't have sex with her, of course, his mind wouldn't let him no matter what his body had to say about it. He'd gotten himself into too many sticky situations that way before. Aw crap, he was staring into her eyes again. Probably freaking her out or something. Well, there was only one way to get out of this sticky situation...
Matt Laren leaned forward and took Armelia's face gently in his hands, kissing her softly for what seemed like the longest moment in the world. He pulled back and smiled; it was just like in the field. "Sorry if you didn't want me to do that, I just couldn't help myself," he said with a playful grin, his hands on her face still and his face still very close to hers. "You know you're a beautiful girl." [/blockquote]

Her wandered to where he was looking, a smile laced her lips as she noticed how sweet and kind he was too her. She knew she wasn’t misunderstanding, she was just careful, the same as he was really. She wasn’t ready to go to a step like that, she didn’t even know if they were having a relationship or not. It didn’t frighten her, which was a surprise because she usually got scared when someone tried to kiss her or hold her tight but here she felt safe, like they belonged there. Noticing his smile she flashed a smile back giggling lightly and tapped his nose until she spoke her own true words. Yes that would be a shame; I would probably catch a cold walking in the rain and not come tomorrow. Her eyes wandered to her slim fingers again and she could imagine how they intertwined with his without having much thought of it. It just seemed right in her eyes. Maybe she was just acting weird? She had been thinking a lot since they met, but about what? She couldn’t remember. All she could really see in front of her was a pair of piercing and cunning blue eyes as well as the gentle lips that had pressed against hers.
The feeling their hands tied together and hearing his words made her giggle lightly. But she wasn’t mocking him, he was new, kind of right? Everyone couldn’t know everything about the stable. Instead she looked over her shoulder with a gentle smile and spoke the words that went in her mind. I know. I was so surprised that I yelled it aloud. Amy scolded me for it and I had to muck all the stalls for a week. She smiled remembering how flustered Amy had been seeing Alto yelling like a little kid. OH MY GOD!? Is it that close!? And I didn’t see it!? The older female had just rolled her eyes and shaken her head not believing what she was seeing and then given the scolding. Armelia had blushed so feverishly Amy asked if she was sick. It had been so embarrassing! But she was over with that now, the punishment hadn’t been half bad after all and they usually looked back at it and laughed. It was this that made everything fun; you had someone to talk with about the past and could laugh with. She loved that and had started living in the future, she hoped. As she had closed the door and looked back at him she noticed that he stared at her. Or was it her lips? Her head bobbed lightly and curiously until she heard him state the claim that the others were smart.
A comment like that made her laugh again, it was true. They had been smart enough to get out of the rain. But then again, she didn’t mind staying alone with him. In fact she was rather comfortable staying with him. Breathing out lightly she noticed that she had been holding her own breath. Why? She didn’t really know but let the breath go out again until she released her soft tunes. I suppose, not that I mind. A playful smirk played her lips for a minute until it faded. Her eyes had caught his ands he saw that he seemed to be surprised by it. She wasn’t scared so let her eyes decide for her. But as he took his hands on her face Armelia couldn’t help but blush and lower her eyes lightly. She felt the warmth and wanted to move and feel his hands more but his lips caught hers first. The moment lasted and she felt like closing her eyes completely but didn’t. Instead she let her hands up, her palms lay over his hand and she looked at him with a smile. The blush was still there because she didn’t speak until she knew he was completely done with his words. No, don’t apologize I don’t mind. And what part of me is beautiful? She was curious but couldn’t keep from blushing more, no one had told her that she was pretty or even beautiful, but he did? What should she do now? Other then blush of course and ask.
