Natalie Horler, best known as Cascada in Northern England stifled a yawn as she jumped out of bed, only to be tackled yet again by her boxer puppy Rosie. "And what do you think your doing?" She giggled as she ruffled her puppies ears just the way she liked them. She grabbed a pair of her favorite faded blue jeans and her cowboy boots and a easy white t-shirt as she jumped into the shower. She started practicing her vocals while she shampooed her hair, Mmm.... strawberries! When she was done with her shower she hopped out, getting dressed as quickly as possible she blow dried her hair and then wiped the mist off the mirror so she could place on a dab of black eyeliner. "Perfect!" She muttered to herself as she dropped the eyeliner back in her makeup bag. Her boots clanked on the wood flooring of her cozy cottage as she locked the front door, grabbed her riding gear and headed out.

As she pulled slowly into Southern Blues Stable she wasn't exactly sure what to expect. She didn't want to say she had an accent but there was still a little bit of an edge to her voice when she spoke. The stables were a magnificent site to see. She pulled her truck to a slow stop and shut it off. Pulling her keys out of the ignition she then opened the door, hoped out and grabbed her stuff. She strode over towards the barn, already knowing that Jazz would be here. She walked down the long barn aisle, it looked like every stall was neatly taken care of and she planned to help keep it that way. She strode to a stop at the stall gate with a gold plate on it that said, 'Heaven's A Lie' on it and set her grooming box down. She opened the gate slowly to be greeted by a warm muzzle and then light nipping at her golden locks. "Well good morning to you to!

The birds were chirping and the sun was already high in the sky. Natalie was hard at work, grooming away in the stall. She smiled as her horse Jazz turned her head and nudged her. "So that's what you like huh?" She continued to curry the spot on Jazz's shoulder, knowing she enjoyed it. She then grabbed a hard brush and began swiping all the dirt flecks off Jazz's dapple grey coat. After that she took a soft brush and ran it over her face, neck, body and legs. When that was complete she lifted every one of her hooves and picked the grass, pebbles, dung and any other remains out and then set her hooves gently back on the ground. She then took 'Mane and Tail Detangler' and worked away at getting all the knots out of Jazz's thick flaxen tail. It took her awhile but in the end she was flawless. Natalie smiled as she stepped out of the stall, not a spot of dirt on her and headed to grab her tack, "I have a feeling that today will be a good day.." She spoke out loud.

She threw on Jazz's quilted pad and then placed her jet black western saddle on her back. She tightened the girth and made sure that her saddle wouldn't slip. Grabbing her bridle that was exactly identical to the saddle she pushed the D-ring into Jazz's mouth and then fastened the throat latch. "Good Girl" She said while giving her a quick pat on the neck. She then unlatched the gate and led Jazz out, down the barn aisle. She halted her as soon as they got outside. Tightening the girth another cinch she than just remembered that she forgot the flyspray. "Stay girl.." She trusted her horse and hoped she would listen. She flew down the barn aisle to her grooming box and grabbed the spray. Running back she was relieved to see Jazz just standing there. She quickly sprayed her down and then put the flyspray back. After all that trouble was over she tightened the girth one last time before putting her left foot in the stirrup and swinging up into the saddle.

They started off at a nice walk, headed straight down Honeyoak Trail. Jazz's ears were pricked forward, apparently she was eager to get going also. Natalie squeezed her legs against Jazz's side and asked her gently to move into a jog. Obediently Jazz obeyed. The jog was great! It was a good pace and it was both calm and relaxing. Pulling back on the reins she hesitated but then asked her for a lope, hoping it wasn't too soon. The mare eagerly agreed and took off. Natalie giggled and began to wonder where everyone was at. She wouldn't mind talking to someone about getting a job here, or just talking to a cute guy.....
