Catching the door and following Layla to the ticket booth he waited for her to ask for the tickets, he would pay more than happy to do that much. Looking at Layla he smiled waiting to see what she was going to see.
"Here let me pay."
He said but didn't do anything not yet just incase she was going to argue his offer, and in that case he wouldn't start a big arguement over nothing. Glancing over his shoulder quickly then back to look at Layla waiting for her reply. Tucking his hands into the pockets of his jeans and resting one leg by bending his leg and resting the toe of his boot on the gorund. watching and waiting, the evening would, or should be an intresting one at least. Layla had a fun personality and seemed nice, but what would her friends be like?

Layla walked up to the ticket booth and took a deep breath. Can I have two for The Haunting In Conneticut showing? The girl behind the counter smiled and nodded, typing in a few letters and then looking back at them. 'That'll be $10.00.' Layla went to reach into her back pocket to get her money out until she heard Matt's offer. She stopped her hand and nodded. Alright, if you'd like to. Oh, her mother would be in heaven right now if she only knew the boy that Layla was out with.. as friends.. of course. To Layla's despair nothing more than friends.
After they'd gotten the tickets and they'd been paid for, Layla grabbed his hand softly and led him to the theatre, walking in through the door that were already open. She saw her friends sitting in one of the back rows and walked up the stairs to join them. Hey, guys. This is Matt. Matt.. This is.. everybody. They're were too many kids to list all the names, he'd probably just forget them anyway. The majority of them smiled and greeted him sweetly, but everybody at least smiled.
Layla walked down one of the asiles and sat down next to the wall in the row that her friends were in, pulling Matt along with her.

Paying happy that she didn't stop him, then when his hand was taken he held hers and followed her keeping close to her side. Then when he was introduced to her friends he just smiled and gave a simple 'hello' nothing much was said to him so he didn't have to say anything in return.
Following Layla to where she wanted to sit Matt waited untill she was sitting untill he sat down beside her. Still holding her hand, he would give her, her hand back if she took it but for now he held her hand, twisting his fingers through hers now not looking at anyone and just staring passed everything waiting for some random friend of Layla's to talk to him or something. What was to be expected he was strange to them and so conversation was partly expected, partly not wanted too.

Layla smiled a little to herself when she felt him intertwine his fingers with hers, crossing her legs when she sat down. She glanced down at their hands, feeling some butterflies fly around in her stomach. She loved it. She looked up at the blank screen and then over at her friend, Becca, when she started to talk to Matt.
Becca leaned forward so she could see over the people that sat between her and Matt and cleared her throat. So, Matt, how old are you? I don't think I've ever seen you around.. Did you just move here or something? She figured it would be nice to at least make a little small talk with the kid, to make him feel less awkward around such a large group of strangers.
Layla didn't plan on pulling her hand away any time soon, unless she felt him getting nervous or something or if HE wanted to pull his hand away. Well then.. she wouldn't have much of a choice.

Looking up as someone cleared there throat assuming it was to get his attention he noticed the girl and offered her a small smile. She was polite and asked one random question but he could easily answer it without trouble. Looking at the girl unsure as to who she even was, but oh well didn't really matter.
"I am seventeen, And I have lived in Ravenhook for a while now, I just keep to myself and go where i'm needed."
Okay such a simple answer but he was a simple person, these people didn't need or want huge three day long reports on what he dose or who he is. Glancing away from the girl and back to Layla with slight question in his eye as to who this girl was, but soon he was looking back so he wouldn't seem rude or anything.

Layla looked over to Becca when she saw Becca talking to him, looking at her when they looked at each other. She didn't say anything until she saw Matt look at her, obviously wondering who in the heck this chick was. She smiled slightly at his confusion and nodded her head in Becca's direction. That's my friend Rebecca. I'm pretty sure I mentioned her earlier. She looked from Becca and back to Matt, settling back in her seat and taking a deep breath.
Becca nodded when he spoke, in kind of a 'oh, I get it' kind of way and then leaned back, smiling a little at Matt when Layla introduced her, but then turning back to everyone else and joining the conversation that they had going on.
Layla looked back to Matt and smiled. You look like you're not happy to be here at all. She chuckled, only meaning that he didn't seem like he was a fan of meeting and - or talking to strangers. She wasn't really looking for much of an answer, which was an okay thing considering just as she was done speaking, the lights dimmer until the room was black and the movie began to play, starting with the commercials. Layla kept her eye's on him for another moment before she looked back at the screen, settling into her seat and leaning back, her hand still laced with his.

He now looks away from Rebecca and down to Layla, a smile now turning up the gorners of his lips, holding her hand just a touch tighter for a short time before he gives a quick but quiet response to her statement.
"But one evening spent in your company may be all I am allowed, And so if being here with you is all I have to look at and enjoy then I will make the most of the time I am allowed in your presence."
Okay not such a short response but he kept it quiet and hoped his whispered words made sense to her even if only a little. Making sure he wasn't hurting her hand Matt looks back at the screen now allowing silence to fall and wondering if he would get some form of a reply or if everything would be quiet untill the film ended.

Her eye's peeled off the screen and shifted to his face as he spoke, a small, shy smile coming across her face when she could hear what he was saying. It was hard to believe that just earlier this morning she was saying 'hi' to this kid for the very first time, and now she couldn't even get enough of him. She could feel a light, pink shade crawling across her cheeks as ehr gaze shifted downward just a little.
When he finished talking, she looked back at him, feeling the grip he had on her hand loosen just a little. She tried to think of something to say, but there was nothing she could say that could even closely enough amount to that of which he said. She listened to the commercials for a moment, but not really, just acknowleding them and that they were there, not really taking her eye's off of him, and their intertwined hands. She glanced up at her friend's, seeing whether or not they were starring at the pair next to the wall.. that being Layla and Matt of course. She looked back at Matt, playing her right hand loosely on the left side of his face and guiding it closer to her's, gently pressing her lips to his and closing her eyes.

For a while, he blankly stared ahead, but watched what he could see of her out of the corner of his eye, as her delicate hand came up to his face turning to face her, and leaning into her kiss he places his left hand over her right, before gently brushing her hair away from her face and hooking it behind her ear slowly.
Closing his eyes for this moment forgetting where he was and the strangers he was amongst, just him and Layla. This girl was wonderfull, it wasn't awkward to be around her it was nice. And easy, natural almost. His hand by now had slipped down to rest on the side of her neck, he for this time didn't want to move, she would be the one to move and not him. Breathing slowly and calmly Matt was ever so glad that he had been inroduced to this girl.

A rush of relief came over her when she could feel his lips reacting to her's. Most people, to feel the touch of someone's hand on their face, or their neck, or their arm or anything would start getting nervous and feel a tightness all over their body, but his touch almost made her relax and she could feel her muscles loosening and melting into him. Her lips stayed plastered against his, hoping her friends weren't gawking at them while they macked in the corner. But, she doubted that they were, considering most of them were probably doing the same thing.
Feeling his hand slide it's way down to her neck, she leaned closer to him, tilting her head ever so slightly to the left, making it easier for her lips to stay against his. She really didn't want to stop kissing this boy, not now and not really ever. She really wouldn't like not having the permission to kiss him whenever she wanted, but right now that wasn't the problem. Because right now she was kissing him.

Tilting his head ever so slightly the oposite way she had tilted hers Matt kept his lips locked on hers. His hand that once rested on her neck now gently brushing down to rest in the middle of her back, eyes still closed, his right hand still holding her left. As slowly the cinema around them fell silent. Ignorant toward this for the time being, still only going to move away from Layla if she were to move away from him first.
Freinds that were here, none that he really knew, he had little care as to what they were doing, for all he could care they could be crowded around the pair of them with cameras giggling. But for this time, this girl who sat beside him, but with the way he sat she was near enough infront of him. If only he had met her sooner, but should that have happened they would have become enemys as a pose to friends.

She could tell that he wasn't going to move until she did, just about something about the way he was going about things told her that she could keep this up all night and so would he, and she probably would have if she wasn't afraid of getting her lips chapped.
She scooted over in the seat just a little bit closer to him, keeping her lips pressed against his and slowly and sweetly kissing him as each moment passed.
The commercials ended and the movie began playing, but Layla didn't care, she really only cared about him right now and what was happening between them. She could have swarm she'd actually felt sparks when their lips touched, but that was probably all in her head. She couldn't help but feel like this was all supposed to happen, and that Aidan was supposed to meet him first to introduce them. She sure was glad it had happened, though.

Now glad that what may have been there between him and Aidan was nothing, maybe this would become something, again a story for time to tell and time only could tell that story. A good one or a bad one, how would this tale end for both Matt, Aidan and Layla. Would Matt be allowed to see Aidan as a friend, would Layla and him see more in one another, would this night work out as not just one night but merge into many? Or would both girls walk away and not want any form of contact with him?
Gently and sweetly kissing Layla his left hand pulling her as close as the two seats would allow for space, His right holding her left, tighter than before but not so tight he would hurt her by mistake. Opening his eyes to pull back slightly and look at Layla, before reaching forward to kiss her once more.

She could still remember when Aidan was first telling her about Matt and how much she liked him. How he was funny and he was sweet and seemed so down to earth and then it seemed like only the next day she was hearing about how sweet and funny Aaron was, and how charming he was and fun to be around and just about everything she was looking for in a guy, and of course she was still confused about Matt, but apparently all of that confusion went away when Aaron asked her to be his girlfriend officially. At the time, Layla didn't really care, considering she didn't know either guy very much at all. She'd seen them around the barn, but that was pretty much it, she'd never spoken to them. But now that she'd gotten to know Matt, she wondered how Aidan could have ever chosen anybody over him. He seemed so perfect.. At least to Layla.
When she felt his lips pull away from her's, her eyes opened slowly, looking back at him when their gazes met until he leaned back in to kiss her. Again, her eye's closed and she met him halfway, kissing him as well. None of her friends were very interested in what was happened, so she really didn't give a damn.

Eyes closed, unaware of how far through the film now was Matt soon found himself shocked by the fact that neither had watched anything of the movie, and now it was over the lights slowly came on. Disapointment if ever youve known it. But you mean to say that they had one nothing but kiss fo however long the film was. That was something to smile about, for afew minuets more Matt kept the girl close not letting ehr go, but knowing her friends were here he kissed Layla one more time then pulled his head back, opening his eyes he smiled at Layla. Removing his hand from her back but still holding her hand he looked at her for a moment more before speaking. "Shall we get going?" okay not the best thing to say but he didn't want Layla's friends getting annoyed or something because he was 'stealing' her attention for now.
